Before troubleshooting, confirm that both your desktop app and mobile app have been updated to the latest version. You can click “Download” on the website to check the latest version information.
If the desktop app cannot be detected during the local network scan, try scanning the QR code instead, which is more stable.
If after trying the above 2 steps the issue still persists, please troubleshoot in order:
- In the desktop app’s “Scan to Connect” section, check if the QR code, local IP address, and port are displayed normally. If not, please check your network connection and restart the desktop software.
- Please confirm that your phone and computer are connected to the same local network. That is, connected to the same Wi-Fi, or via wired connection.
- If you are on Windows, try turning off the firewall. Does the “Block all incoming connections” button work?
- The router refuses connections between devices on the local network. Try connecting your phone and computer to another mobile hotspot.
